Water Tank Update to CCWD Customers April 3, 2023

One of the ways CCWD keeps people involved is to provide an update on CCWD activities in Canebrake Improvement Association (CIA) meetings. Boardmember Bob Mooney presented a water tank update to the CIA meeting on April 2, 2023. He let the membership know that Jerry Bucheit has been trying to locate a D1 Operator for weeks and was finally able to reach Robert Sexton late this week. Mr. Sexton is a local contractor that the District has used in the past. Mr. Sexton has been ill for the past month, but indicated that he will be happy to complete the water tank installation per SD County requirements. However, he will have to renew his D1 - D3 Certification. He expects that to happen in the next two weeks. At that time we will post a call for volunteers to assist with lowering and raising the water tank for the installation.
