Water Manager Retirement and Emergency Water Quality Paper Notice Poll
As your CCWD looks at the future of our aging water system, we are attempting to meld technological advances with a community-based volunteer approach. Dean Kuns, our CCWD Water Manager will be retiring in a year. Thus, we are looking at various options. If you, or you know of someone that is interested in working as the CCWD Water Manager, please let us know.
Moreover, please know, we need more volunteers to assist with our water system.
We have also developed expanded water quality notification procedures to ensure all property owners are notified in case of a water emergency. In addition to posting at the mailboxes and community center, emailing and posting on the private Canebrake Facebook page, we have added signposts at the three entrances.

In the event of a water emergency, the signposts will read BOIL WATER or other pertinent instructions.
There are Canebrakers requesting the delivery of a printed copy of the email to their front door, as they feel they may not receive the notice through the other means.
Therefore, this is a poll. Please email Ellyn Hae at recyclingbynature@gmail.com if you would like a paper notice placed on your door.
Thank you,
CCWD
