Upgrades Successful - Community Water Filter System, Stafford Crossing, Mooney Pump Valve and Tank Electronics

Success - Four Home Runs!

The water district with volunteers installed and upgraded the following:

  • A Community Water Filtration System for all patrons located at the Community Building.  Cleanouts and a building water shutoff were also installed at the Community Building.
  • New valve and pipe replacement at the Mooney Pump.
  • New Culverts and Riprap at the Stafford Crossing to handle 12 times more water flow.
  • Upgraded installation of Tank Electronics (telemetry) to handle high winds.

Steve Parli and Bill Dimmock for water filter install and community building plumbing.  Ward family for water filter research. Mr Greg Mattson for donating culverts and heavy equipment operators to upgrade the Stafford crossing.  Daryl Holmes and Ron Akey for heavy equipment operations and training new volunteers. Additional thanks to Dean Kuns our water manager and our Water Board for research and execution of the installations.

Infrastructure improvements: telemetry system, reverse osmosis filter, gate valve for a pump, and a pipeline crossing upgrade.
