Shutoff: The CCWD plans to shut off water to NEARLY ALL CUSTOMERS between the hours of 8AM and 4PM on Tuesday February 11. Work on a minor but persistent leak in the "Price Line" necessitates shutting off water at the "Poly" Tank. Customers affected will be those with properties east of 450 Canyon Rd. As already noted - this will impact nearly all customers in the district.

PLEASE NOTIFY THE CCWD IMMEDIATELY if you have a reason you cannot go without water on the day and times noted above. Customer issues with the planned water shutoff must be received within 48 hours of this notification. Otherwise the work will proceed as planned. An additional shuttoff notice will follow. 

Description of Repair: The work being performed will entail the replacement of a 3-inch PVC compression fitting with a more reliable fitting. This will entail draining a portion of the Price Line to perform the repairs. It will also require draining and refilling parts of the water system to purge air and fully restore service. 

The CCWD may perform additional repairs of minor leaks elsewhere on the Price Line if time permits.
