NOTICE: WATER SHUTOFF (CCWD)
Shutoff: Due to work being performed on Canebrake Rd, our water delivery will be temporarily disconnected on Wednesday, January 29. Water may be disconnected between the hours of 8:00AM and 12:00PM. We will restore water service as soon as possible.
Customers affected will be those with properties southeast of the intersection of Canyon Rd and Canebrake Rd. We recommend affected customers be prepared with sufficient water for drinking, cooking, and other essential activities during the hours noted above.
Though very unlikely, in the event we are unable to shutoff water supply with a single valve, we may have to disconnect service to more properties. Therefore, we recommend ALL CUSTOMERS be prepared with sufficient water for drinking, cooking, and other essential activities during the hours noted above.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Description of Repair: The work being performed will entail the replacement of a water meter, a “corp stop,” and any other repairs necessitated by conditions found.
Restoration of Water: Although we make every effort to prevent introduction of air into water lines, we strongly recommend taking steps to purge possible air in your line. We recommend turning on an outside hose bib slowly until your water flow is clean of air. The absence of air is indicated by a steady flow of water.
A less desirable method would be to slowly turn on an indoor faucet. This is less desirable because of the potential to put excessive pressure on more sensitive plumbing components inside your homes.
Thank you.
