NOTICE: WATER SHUTOFF (April 30)

Shutoff: The CCWD plans to shut off water to NEARLY ALL CUSTOMERS between the hours of 8AM and 4PM on Wednesday April 30. Replacement of a major system valve will impact nearly all customers in the district.

PLEASE NOTIFY THE CCWD IMMEDIATELY if you have a reason you cannot go without water on the day and times noted above. Customer issues with the planned water shutoff must be received within 48 hours of this notification. Otherwise the work will proceed as planned. An additional shuttoff notice will follow. 

Description of Repair: The work being performed will entail the replacement of a 3-inch valve and adjacent piping. This includes draining a portion of the system to perform the repairs. It will also require draining and refilling parts of the water system to purge air and fully restore service after repairs are completed. 

The CCWD may perform additional repairs as conditions warrant.
