Shutoff: The CCWD plans to shut off water to a limited number of customers on Friday 08/21/26, 7:00am - 3:00pm. Steps are being taken to avoid impact to most summer residents.

The scope of work planned will result in limited water, and lower pressure for the following customers: 

• Customers on and north of Smoketree Ln.
• This includes the Community Center. Customers who use reverse osmosis filtered water available at the Community Center are urged to refill their supplies before Friday.

As a precaution, all customers are urged to be prepared with sufficient water during this time period. Customers on and south of Canebrake Rd should not be affected. However conditions found may require more extensive shutoffs which could temporarily affect these customers.

Finally, following completion of work there may be intermittent periods of lower than normal water pressure. This is expected and is a result of efforts to purge possible air in the system.
