Hello Canebrakers;

Recently we sent out a note via the Streamline regarding the upcoming election cycle. Please note that there are strict deadlines that must be met if you are interested in appearing on the ballot, and I highly encourage anyone wishing to participate on the board – and our democratic process in this 250th year of our extraordinary country – to put in their name and run. Below you will find a table that contains the status of Board of Directors. 

I have learned a lot in these last couple of years about the rewards as well as struggles that being a part of this Board amounts to. Most of all I've learned that it is an honor, a privilege, and a responsibility to help provide the water that sustains our community and represents the very lifeblood of what Canebrake means to all of us.

Being on the Board means being a part of a team – no one person can do this, and no one person can succeed alone. We need the strength of a full Board, along with our amazing volunteers, to keep this thing going. As such, I urge you to please consider seeking election to the Board and serving this community we all love so much.
