CCWD took samples from Mooney and Peterson wells on 1.16.24 to better judge the fluoride content of our water. The results show a significant difference; with the Peterson well indicating a reading more in our normal range, which is still considered high (Mooney 7.8 mg/L and Peterson 2.9 mg/L).

We have been pumping from Peterson/Mooney wells for the past week to dilute water in the main line.  A sample will be taken this weekend from the Cholla Lane blow off to determine if this procedure will bring the system to a more reasonable level.

A follow-up sample will also be taken from Mooney well, which we will continue to monitor in the coming months. 

We will continue to notify the Community when samples are taken and results will be posted.
