Special Thanks to: Our water manager Dean Kuns, Jerry Buchheit and plumber Robert Sexton for upgrading the Mooney pump and motor and replacing pipeline valves. Marsha Campbell and Chris MacDonald for Starlink installation. Ron Akey, Steve Fillmore and Chris MacDonald for vault digging and heavy equipment operations. All the water district board members for heavy equipment operations, digging, plumbing, installing Starlink, buying materials, research and oversight.
These upgrades are big and support a more reliable and maintainable water system. We welcome volunteers in the summer where work begins before the sun rises. These jobs required the following in the field work hours (does not include driving to the desert):
- Board Members - 90 hours
- Water Manager - 50 hours
- Volunteers - 30 hours
- Contractor - 30 hours
