Fellow Canebrakers:

At the resent Canebrake Improvement Association (CIA) meeting your water district reached out to the Canebrake community for donations to help purchase a mini excavator as part of replacement of our backhoe which was recently sold. This mini excavator will be a much improved asset to help your district continue providing distribution of water for our community.

We are very grateful that, during the CIA meeting, the members agreed to a substantial donation. Also, several Canebrakers in attendance have pledged to make a donation.  

With these donations, the sale of the backhoe and the generous donation from the CIA, this will greatly reduce the effect of this much needed equipment on the water district reserves. 

Although the pledged donations will surely help, your District is now reaching out to anyone willing to contribute, which will further lower the cost of this needed equipment.

Any contribution will be greatly appreciated, and we thank you for your consideration.
