Coliform Prevention

• As the heat continues, coliform prevention procedures come into place with our water district.  This is true for water districts everywhere in California!
• We will be adding a small amount of chlorine throughout the system, still safe for drinking, accurately tested multiple times using a DPD meter with a D1 water certified operator.
• We will execute the preventative measures Wedneday August 28 through Thursday August 29. 
• If you have any sensitivity to chlorine, please stock up on water BEFOREHAND for at least 3 days worth.  
• During this time, some segments of the pipeline may be shut off as we connect pipes from the Summer breaks. We will be working mainly on Smoketree West. You may still have water since there are 8300 gallons in the pipeline!
