NOTICE PURSUANT TO THE CANEBRAKE COUNTY WATER DISTRICT BYLAWS ARTICLE III, SECTION 2

To all Canebrake registered voters, or landowners within the Canebrake Community. This notice is to inform those considering becoming a Board Member of the Canebrake County Water District (CCWD).

There are four seats open for election: In Seat #2 there are two years remaining in the term. Seats #1, #3, and #4 are four year terms.

Anyone interested in running for the seats may contact any Board Member or the San Diego County Registrar of Voters to make an appointment or ask questions; by calling 858-505-7260 or by email.

Filing dates: 

• Nomination filing opens:  July 13, 2026
• Nomination filing closes:  August 7, 2026
